We are deeply saddened that we are unable to bring Puccini’s masterpiece Tosca and its preview event to our community as planned but are working diligently to reschedule them both for next season, hopefully with the same stellar performers, designers and technical team. Your safety and well-being and that of our cast, crew, orchestra, technical team, venue staff and others, is our top priority. Our deep commitment to our community means that we must play our role in curbing the spread of the COVID-19 pandemic among us.Īs we have been monitoring the rapidly evolving situation, relying on information from local and national authorities, as well as our partners and colleagues in Anchorage, we have come to the difficult decision to suspend all performances of Tosca (April 17, 18 & 19) at the Discovery Theatre in the Alaska Center for the Performing Arts and TAKE ONE: Tosca (April 5) at the private residence of Tim Pearson and Brian Chen. ![]()
